The weather has been absolutely aweful! Usually this time of year, I am lamenting the end of Summer and although I love the Fall, I'm sad to put away my summer clothes and say goodbye to weekends at the beach. The NY weather has been a balmy 80+ degrees for the past 2 weeks with a humidity level that is paralleled only in the Amazon. My hair has been absolutely hopeless!
Colleen took this picture of me in Pitt because I wanted to archive my awesome hair look...little did I know that the next day, we would run this Dove hair pushdown and skin. When the page first loaded, I swear I thought that Colleen played the ultimate prank and put my photo in the skin!
Needless to say, I'm entering the contest!

How did I miss the post about how much Revolutionary Road will ruin a good evening and even a good night's sleep? I had aweful dreams last night... my husband and I even argued over who would have the pleasure of giving it a big thumbs down on Netflix. That's how we got them back.
Don't watch it! I'd almost rather read my 401K reports than Revolutionary Road... seriously... and that is HUGE!

This week, the snow melted and the kids were able to go outside and ride their bikes for the first time in at least 2 months. Yesterday morning, the "heat" clearly went to my head, when my premature Spring fever impelled me to don my favorite Cole Haan peep toe shoes. My plan backfired when I stepped out my deck and landed in 4 inches of mud (oh yeah, when snow melts, the lawn turns to mud, oops). After starting my 98 Golf (yes I need to get the car running 10 mins before going to the train even in 40 degree weather),I reluctantly pulled on my brown boots and stomped into NYC. Lucky me though, b.c. the wind was brutal in NY yesterday and the warm (and comfy) boots came in handy as I walked from meeting to meeting.
I'm looking forward to spending some time outdoors this weekend... and on MONDAY!
